Circular Staff Performance Evaluation Policy 3rd O A - Teaching
- For the teaching faculty, the most important part is quality of teaching. Quality of teaching is rated as under :-
A. Number of students present in your lecture.
B. Methodology adopted by you while teaching
C. Competition of syllabus vis-a-vis lesion planning approved by the competent authority.
D. Performance and its hands on experience in the lab
E. Preparation of study material for the students
F. Method of Setting of Question Papers and their evaluation in the given time frame
G. Class Management
H. Procedure adopted for continuous evaluation of the students
I. Students performance i.e. final output in the University Examination for the subjects taught by you
B – Research
- For the teaching faculty, the another important aspect on which evaluation is made is the number of research papers, articles submitted at the national or state level conferences / seminars. The policy of this Institute is that the faculty members whose paper has been accepted at the national level, is paid all the expenditure for presenting the paper at the conference. Similarly faculty members whose paper has been accepted at the state level, only transportation expenditure is borne by the Institute.
- Number of seminars / workshop, conferences organized / coordinated by the faculty in GIT.
- Maintaining and recording the proceeding of the seminars / workshop attended by the faculty immediately upon its completion.
C – Academic Administrative
- Maintaining and updating the students profile form and appraising its analysis to higher authority at the end of every month.
- Precisely submission of attendance report of the students to Principal at the end of month with detailed analysis.
- Participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the Institute. All the staff members who chose to remain absent in any cultural activity will be marked as “Un authorized leave” and therefore it would be treated as LWP and will adverse impact on his / her evaluation.
- The staff that take active part in all the activities of the Institute and make efforts to bring excellence will be positively rated having impact on their advancement.
- Observing strictly the instructions given by the Director and promptly responding positively in bringing solution of major / minor problem.
